Social Enterprise

What Is Social Enterprise?

Community Centres SA is committed to building business skills and member centres overall sustainability. The growth and development of existing and potential social enterprises is a priority.

A Social Enterprise has an economic, social, cultural or environmental mission consistent with a public or community benefit. It trades to fulfil its mission and reinvests the majority of all profit/surplus in the fulfilment of that mission.

The Biz Playbook – A Taste of Entrepreneurship

The Biz Playbook is a free workbook to help develop an entrepreneurial spirit. Each unit is back up by a 5 minute video (visible in the table below) providing a unique insight into the mindset of successful entrepreneurs, including Maggie Beer, Poh Ling Yeow, Marita Cheng and other local success stories. Using the Biz Playbook and Videos together will cement ideas into business plans.

We acknowledge and thank Flinders University and Flinders Partners as the source of both the Biz Playbook and videos.
